Description
This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies. Students will learn and review the fundamentals of human learning, according to behavioral and learning theorists. Students will then apply principles of learning to the classroom, for assessment, intervention, and evaluation purposes. This course prepares students to use collaborative problem solving in the application of behavioral techniques.Prerequisite: matriculation in the school psychologist program and permission of the program head.
